Our oldest cat, Ginger is behaving differently in his “twilight” years.  He is an old boy now and does things he never used to do.  His latest “thing” is to dive into the wicker laundry basket which contains a wet and fresh load as I am trying to hang the clothes on the line.

I had been photographing new products in the studio when Merlo decided to have a kip on my white backdrop paper. I liked the way this photograph turned out and our gorgeous chocolate point ragdoll cat is now 18 months old.

As I have previously mentioned on this blog, I love vector art and used to do illustrations in Corel Draw but I have been trying to learn Adobe Illustrator over the last few days and have never found it to be a user friendly programme and I usually end up tearing my hair out in frustration.

Merlo, our chocolate point ragdoll kitten is coming up for his 1st Birthday on 20 March and he has been quite a handful!

For the past month or so I have been so busy with my new online shop and have not been out in my yard to take any new pictures of garden guests. Today, on New Year’s Day 2010 an unwanted garden guest made an appearance and I am still affected by it.

Our new chocolate point ragdoll kitten Merlo is well and truly settling in and I have been taking some photographs of him. He is now 9 weeks old and demands constant attention.

I decided that I needed a new feline friend and this is Merlo, my 8 weeks old chocolate point ragdoll kitten.  He is drop dead gorgeous and a bundle of fluffy trouble already.  He’s so adorable that I will just have to photograph, draw and paint him.
