I had been photographing new products in the studio when Merlo decided to have a kip on my white backdrop paper. I liked the way this photograph turned out and our gorgeous chocolate point ragdoll cat is now 18 months old. He is settling down a lot better, is not nearly so demanding and even Ginger, our older cat, quite enjoys Merlo’s company (in small doses).

I’ve called the photograph “Ragdoll Dreams” and have applied a soft filter for effect. Merlo’s colouring has changed since he was a kitten and his chocolate face has become darker. I remember reading somewhere that their colouring changes for the first 3 years of their little lives! He virtually never leaves my side and at times it is really difficult to work in the studio when he is flopping all over my keyboard and products!

Also, I am looking for a new banner for my site – do you do any graphic design work?
Hi Jenny,
What gorgeous ragdolls on your site. Yes, I can do graphic design commissions and will send you an e-mail.
